Terms & Conditions
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These terms cover the website and boat detailing services offered by [Full legal business or owner name], operating as Bluewater Detailing Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Please review these terms before booking. By accepting a quote or confirming a service after receiving these terms, you agree to the applicable terms and the details of your approved service agreement.
QUOTES AND SERVICE PRICING
Quotes are based on the boat’s size, condition, location, and requested services. Website prices described as “starting at” are estimates.
We will confirm the scope of work and price before beginning service. If an inspection reveals conditions requiring additional work, we will discuss the options and obtain your approval before adding services or charges.
A written agreement accepted by both parties takes precedence over these general terms for that particular service.
BOOKING AND AUTHORIZATION
The person booking must be at least 18 years old and must own the vessel or have the owner’s authorization to approve the work.
Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation. Please provide accurate contact information, vessel details, and service-location information.
PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS
Unless another payment schedule is agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the agreed services.
Any required deposit, accepted payment methods, and payment schedule will be disclosed before booking. Deposits will be credited toward the total service price.
Any applicable taxes or additional fees will be identified before you approve the work.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an appointment.
Any cancellation fee or deposit-retention condition must be disclosed and agreed to before booking and remains subject to applicable law.
Weather, unsafe conditions, marina restrictions, or unsuitable conditions for applying products may require rescheduling. We will contact you to arrange another suitable time.
If we cancel a service and you choose not to reschedule, payments for services not performed will be refunded.
VESSEL ACCESS AND PREPARATION
Customers are responsible for arranging authorized access to the vessel and obtaining any necessary permission from the property owner, marina, or storage facility.
Please remove or secure valuables and loose personal belongings before service. Let us know about existing damage, loose fittings, leaks, sensitive equipment, previous repairs, or special care requirements.
Access to water, electricity, and an appropriate work area will be discussed when scheduling. We may pause or postpone work if safe, authorized access or suitable working conditions are unavailable.
SERVICE RESULTS AND AFTERCARE
Detailing results depend on the condition, age, and previous treatment of the vessel’s surfaces. Some oxidation, staining, scratches, corrosion, or other defects may require repairs beyond the agreed detailing service.
We will discuss significant limitations identified before or during the work. Complete removal of every defect cannot be guaranteed.
Wax, sealants, and ceramic coatings require appropriate care and maintenance. Their performance depends on product selection, exposure, storage, use, and maintenance. Please follow any curing and aftercare instructions provided.
Any specific product or workmanship warranty will be stated separately in writing. Nothing in these terms removes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
EXISTING DAMAGE AND SERVICE CONCERNS
We are not responsible for damage that existed before our work or deterioration unrelated to our services. This does not excuse damage caused by our negligence.
Please report any service concern or suspected damage promptly so we can review it and discuss an appropriate correction, refund, or other remedy where warranted or required by law.
MEMBERSHIPS AND RECURRING SERVICES
Membership or maintenance-plan terms will identify the included services, price, billing frequency, duration, renewal arrangements, and cancellation process before enrollment.
Recurring charges require your authorization. Cancellation methods and any required renewal notices will be provided with the plan. You may also contact us for assistance with cancellation.
These general terms alone do not authorize recurring billing.
PHOTOGRAPHS AND PRIVACY
We may take photographs to document vessel condition and completed work. We will request separate permission before using identifiable customer or vessel photographs for advertising.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
WEBSITE CONTENT
Our website’s original text, photographs, branding, and other materials belong to Bluewater Detailing Co. or their respective owners. Reuse requires permission unless otherwise permitted by law.
Please use the website lawfully and do not interfere with its operation or submit misleading requests.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms for future bookings and website use. The revised date will appear above.
Changes to an already accepted service agreement require agreement by both parties, except where otherwise required by law. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
